The Royal Court Hotel Coventry
Services & Facilities
The Royal Court Hotel is a beautiful and charming manor house, originally built in 1894 by the car manufacturer William Hillman.
The house is a black and white timber framed building in the style of the Tudors and is surrounded by luscious gardens with picnic benches, a striking dome temple, fountains and a number of ponds with bridges and stepping stones.
Over the years, the hotel has been tastefully extended and is now the largest hotel in Coventry. The reception area is extremely grand and here guests are greeted with marble flooring, plush black leather sofas, three-tiered chandeliers which light up the space beautifully and an intricately engraved ceiling.
The lounge bar is a favourite with guests and has a cut-out yellow and red stained glass ceiling, accompanied by a gorgeous piano, a mixture of bar-stool and sofa seating and panelled windows overlooking the hotel pool.
For dining, the hotel restaurant is located in the grand hall and makes a popular dining choice for both locals and visitors alike. It has two real log fires with fantastic mantelpieces, a host of candles, potted plants and large windows allowing natural light to filter into the room.
It is approximately only 3 miles from Coventry City Centre, allowing guests access to both the hotel’s fantastic facilities as well as Coventry’s many attractions, ranging from pubs and restaurants to cathedrals and canals.
Our staff work extremely hard to accommodate guests and are a credit to the hotel’s provisions. Keep fit facilities are also available to everyone and include a swimming pool and gym.
For those seeking a lovely warm hotel whilst visiting Coventry, Royal Court is excellent value for money and caters for an easy and calming vacation.
