Buxton Hotel
Buxton is nestled in the centre of the beautiful Peak District; the UK’s oldest National Park. It’s no surprise the town is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region with its stunning gardens and architecture. It will be a fantastic destination for a short break away, whether that’s for shopping, sightseeing, an evening out or if you’re trying out one of the many attractions. There really is something for everyone! Do you love the great outdoors? Well the Peak District is right on Buxton’s doorstep, offering breath-taking views and excellent opportunities for walking, cycling and camping. The Pavilion Gardens are just a short 6-minute walk away from the hotel and are set within 23 acres of magnificent, landscaped gardens and play areas. It’s the perfect setting for a fun family day out, with food and drink, shopping and plenty of events taking place throughout the year.
Maybe shopping is on your agenda. You’ll be pleased to know that Buxton has plenty of well-known stores and a wide range of independent shops too. You’ll find unique shops lining the High Street and Market Place. Springs Shopping Centre is 0.4 miles from the hotel and has a wide variety of stores, such as Next, Waitrose and New Look. Buxton Opera House is just 0.3 miles away; perfect if you want to see the latest show and have somewhere to stay the night. Perhaps the kids need to let off some steam. Car Parking
On-site parking is £5 for 24 hours, with 180 spaces including 10 disabled bays and no height restrictions.
All guests using the car park must register their car details at reception. Failure to do so could result in a parking penalty, please note the car park is operated by a third party, not ourselves.

The Palace Hotel has many on-site facilities for guests to enjoy. Dovedale Restaurant serves a full English breakfast each morning with lighter options too. Dinner is available every evening offering a selection of dishes to choose from. Lunch is also an option on weekends. The Lounge Bar is open throughout the week offering a wide choice of beverages and snacks. The hotel also features a health and leisure club (small fee applies) with an indoor pool, gym, spa, sauna and steam rooms. The hotels spacious en-suite bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, TV and hairdryer. Wi-Fi is available free of charge and there is a 24-hour reception for your convenience. The hotel has eight function suites, suitable for weddings and conferences.
Transport
Getting to the Palace Hotel Buxton couldn’t be easier, with the hotel being just off the A53. Buxton Train Station is a short 3-minute walk and there a bus stops located on the A53.
