When looking for a conference venue it’s important to find somewhere that’s easy to navigate to and has plenty of spacious suites available, you won’t be disappointed with Britannia Wigan Hotel. Situated just off the M6, our hotel is close to local public transport making it ideal for arranging regional meetings or exhibitions. The nearest train station is Appley Bridge, 2.9 miles away, and there are bus stops located just outside the hotel on Almond Brook Road. We also have an on-site car park for those travelling by car.
We have a total of nine suites, which can accommodate up to 300 delegates. Whether it’s a banqueting event, conference or just for a change of scenery for a team building day, our venue will make the ideal choice for you and your delegates. Our facilities also include a purpose-built Café area, which can be used for breaks or to enjoy a buffet lunch. If you’re guests are travelling a long distance, we have over 100 en-suite bedrooms and can offer preferential rates. The Britannia Wigan Hotel also has a restaurant and bar and boasts an on-site Health and Leisure Club, with a heated indoor pool and gym (fees do apply).
