Meon Valley Golf Course Now Open
UPDATED NEWS
- Pro shop is open Monday to Sunday 7am until 9pm.
- Driving range is open from 7am and will remain open until sunset. No booking is required and tokens can be purchased from the pro shop.
- Please do not go near tees and greens with trolleys. Please carry where possible.
- Please respect all roped off areas of the golf course.
- Buggies available - Please be aware that buggies do not go out on the course over the winter months. We will also stop bugggies going out during the summer following wet weather.
ALL GOLFERS
- Both members and visitors must pre book a tee time. To book a tee time, call us on 01329 836831 or book online.
- Upon arrival, all players must check in with the Golf marshal on first tee.
- The ball is to be played as it lies in a bunker, as rakes will again be available to smooth the sand after you have played your shot, please remember to do this as a courtesy to others.
With effect from midnight on Sunday 8th October 2023 Preferred Lies will come into operation on both the Meon & Valley Courses and remain in force till at least 31st March 2024.
- The correct procedure for preferred lies is: the ball must be on a closely mown area known as the “General Area” cut to fairway height.
- The reference point (which for this purpose would be immediately behind the ball) must be marked with a tee peg or ball marker.
- The ball is then to be lifted, cleaned and placed within a 6” semi -circle behind the marker not nearer the hole.
- Note: - The term Winter Rules no longer applies as a plugged ball rule now exists all year round.

Memberships
A £100 admin fee will be added upon sign up to both annual and direct memberships. This is a yearly fee which will be applied each year.
Direct Debit Memberships
All our direct debit memberships are contract free and you can cancel at any time, we just need 30 days written notice. All we require is for you to come in and set up your direct debit and you control the rest!

Championship Meon Course
Our premier golf course has twice hosted the Phillips PFA golf classic. This course has 18 holes and passes through an oak forest, tree-lined fairways, large bunkers and natural water hazards.
Valley Course
Offering wider fairways than the Meon Course, our Valley Course is slightly less challenging but has its own charm. The course is built around the ruins of an ancient Roman village and the 9-hole course can be played as one 18-hole course at 5,758 yards.
You can perfect your swing in our golf academy, which features a computerized teaching system that combines motion analysis with pro instruction. Our PGA professionals take time with each student to ensure that they receive the most from their sessions.
Club Competitions
We have four golf sections within our club, men’s, ladies, seniors and juniors. There’s certainly no shortage of golf competitions for all our members!
Every weekend the men have regular competitions, such as the medal, stableford, par bogie and also AM AM’s and Texas Scramble.
Our senior’s day is Monday and again there is a competition of some description on most Mondays.
Our Ladies Day is Wednesday and they also have a very busy diary. Ladies who are unable to play midweek are catered for and slots at the weekend are provided to those who would like to play in our various competitions.
In addition to internal competitions, all sections participate in external competitions, mixed events, men’s matches, ladies matches and various junior events for our younger members.
Great for Groups
Our countryside location is an ideal venue for corporate golf events, golf societies, charity golf days and even team building sessions. We have special packages and flexible memberships to make your days outing simple and easy.
