Want to know what it feels like to take control of a jet liner? If the answer is yes, it's well worth a trip to SimSpot. This simulator is a complete replica of the inside of the Boeing 737 cockpit and every dial, button, switch and instrument, is fully functional, just like in a real aircraft!

With many thriving universities and a pioneering art and culture scene of live music, theatre, art galleries and museums, a trip to Nottingham Playhouse can really show off Nottingham's culture. Past performers include the likes of Chris Ramsey and Jason Byrne!

      City of Caves

Drury Walk, Upper Level, Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, Nottingham, NG1 7LS

Descend into the dark depths of the original Anglo-Saxon tunnels, meeting real cave-dwellers from its dramatic hidden past. You can learn about how these caves have been adapted over centuries by local people, in order to escape and take refuge from the world above. This is not one to be missed!

      Nottingham Castle

      Casple Place, Nottingham, NG1 6EL
The history of Nottingham Castle is long and turbulent. The first incarnation of Nottingham Castle was built in 1068. Known as the legendary home to the Sheriff of Nottingham, Robin Hood’s mortal enemy, the castle has been dismantled and rebuilt several times throughout history. In 1875 the gutted building was restored as a museum of fine art, which it remains today. There are a number of different galleries to tour with much to see along the way, from historical displays to costume collections!
