We are all facing a period of uncertainty due to the impacts of COVID-19, this page is here to provide a source of information for people who have already made bookings with us or are considering doing so.

PLEASE NOTE - All hotels are currently accepting card payments ONLY - cash will not be accepted
All Covid-19 policies are based on current UK government guidelines and are being constantly reviewed based on the latest advice. Some of the information you receive at the time of booking may be out of date by the time you stay at the hotel.

Following the latest Government advice, we have extended the closure of the majority of our hotels until the 4th July.

Selected hotels remain open to support the NHS, Local and Central Government Agencies, Key Workers and other groups identified by the Government. For more information on which hotels are open and for how to book, please click below.

The remainder of our hotels are available to book, for all customers, for stays from 4th July 2020. Britannia Hotels takes the health & safety of all its guests and staff very seriously and will be keeping the situation under constant review subject to government guidance.
This EXCLUDES our hotels in Scotland, these are available for all customers to book from the 15th July 2020.

In order to comply with the government guidelines when we do reopen not all of the hotels facilities will be available and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.

If you have a reservation between now and the 4th of July 2020, you are able to amend your dates to a date after the 4th of July 2020, please call our contact centre to arrange your amendment.

Safety First

The health and safety of our guests and our staff working throughout the company is paramount to us. We have been closely monitoring the guidance issued by the Government, World Health Organisation, Public Health England as well as national health organisations. We are following this guidance where appropriate as well as taking preventative actions in our hotels and offices. Examples of this include:

Hand sanitiser is widely available throughout our properties with additional signage encouraging its effective use
Increased focus on cleaning across all of our properties
Ensuring that we are prepared for unexpected eventualities

Advice for Guests
If prior to travelling you begin to feel ill or you have been in close contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), or you live with someone who is self-isolating please follow the advice on the NHS website and contact us before travelling. Should you begin to feel ill while staying in one of our hotels and you have any of the symptoms listed on the NHS, World Health Organisation and/or Public Health England websites please call reception immediately and avoid contact with other guests and staff members.
