Winter means lots of things; the Festive season, nights in by the fire and warm and hearty meals. It also means seeing your breath on those fresh winter mornings and enjoying the crispness of the season. It's a great time of year to head out on a brisk walk and take in all the beauty the British countryside has to offer. Pack up your winter woollies and take a look at our round up of some of the best hotels to visit for lovers of the great outdoors.
