October is the time of year where the days start getting shorter, and the nights start getting scarier. Don't hide indoors this Halloween, embrace your inner monster and treat your family and friends to some of the best spine-tingling fun the UK has to offer!

Apple Jacks Adventure Park / Spooky World

Apple Jacks
If you’re looking for the perfect family-friendly day out this October, then Apple Jacks is the right place for you. Most people come for the massive maize maze which can take up to an hour to escape from (so make sure you bring some snacks!), but there is also plenty of other fun to be had for children of all ages including archery, roller skating, quad karts and a play area for the toddlers. For those looking for a bite to eat there is an onsite grill serving fresh burgers and hot dogs. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic, which you can either eat inside or outside on the fields if the weather is nice enough.

Adults and teens are welcome back at night for the intense horror experience – known as Spooky World – where you are sure to find one or two things that go bump in the night, and with attractions such as The Slaughter House, Field of Screams and the crowd favourite Haunted Hayride, you are sure to be scared straight.
