Event: Dudley Castle Ghost Trail

When there’s something strange, in the neighbourhood, who are you going to call? Unfortunately we don’t have GHOSTBUSTERS at hand to help, which is why Dudley Castle are inviting professional mediums to help train you for its ghost hunt!

The castle has had much reported ghost activity for hundreds and hundreds of years, dating all the way back to the Doomsday book of 1086. This paranormal experiment is only for those with steady hands and a strong stomach - all participants must be aged 18 and over. It will take place overnight around the grounds and you will have access to all the equipment needed to contact the spirits.

The night includes séances, vigils in the dark (purposeful sleeplessness), glass divination and table tipping (ways to contact the spirit world), Ouija board experiences and readings from mediums. During your visit, you will be provided with hot drinks and light refreshments. You will also have the opportunity to partake in an independent white noise experiment, as well as full use of all ghost hunting equipment.

With its past history knighting it as one of the most haunted locations open for visitation, tickets are selling fast! The event itself will be run by the legendary company Personal Paranormal who hold frequent events at mysterious paranormal locations around the country.

The most famous ghost to haunt the grounds at Dudley Castle is said to be the Grey Lady. She is believed to have once been a woman named Dorothy Beaumont, who died due to complications at child birth alongside her daughter. After refusing her request to bury her body next to her daughters and not having her husband attend her funeral, she resides in a state of purgatory, unable to rest and find peace. Some believe she is beyond help, some believe she is waiting for someone – it’s up to you to decide for yourself! There is no doubt that the inexplicable happenings in the castle will stir all kinds of questions, many which may never be answered!

What to bring for your ghost hunting experience:

The most important thing is to bring a a torch - every ghost hunter must have a torch at hand!

You must also make sure to bring lots of warm clothing. The air can get quite a chill with paranormal entities about. You will also be outside for some parts of the evening.
