Join Captain Black and his crew as they embark upon a mission of discovery beneath the wreckage of the galleon in Mutiny Bay. Explore the hidden capsule of Sharkbait Reef by SEA LIFE and be immersed in a new underwater world where you will come face to face with a myriad of fascinating creatures from the deepest depths of the seas and oceans of the World.
A brand new land full of surprises!
Our younger guests will be even more spoilt for choice than ever during 2010 at the Alton Towers Resort. A brand new land called Cloud Cuckoo Land opened in March 2009, complete with live entertainment and characters to meet and greet, an amazing combination of indoor soft play activities, plus a fantastic range of rides and attractions for the tiniest of tots to enjoy!
Endless Family Fun
Challenge all the family to set sail aboard Mutiny Bay - our pirate-themed land featuring Battle Galleons, a water adventure ride to set to test all ages. Upon the eight Galleons, wannabe pirates will take part in a fun-filled splash battle of their lives!
Mutiny Bay is also home to Marauder's Mayhem - a spinning sensation set within barrels of rum and explosives, plus for smaller explorers, a ride aboard the rocking Heave Ho tug boat will thrill brave adventurers.
The fun never stops as children learn to drive at the Peugeot 207 Driving School, ride the Congo River Rapids, enjoy thrills on the Spinball Whizzer and take an animal-tastic cruise on the Riverbank Eye Spy. Youngsters can also interact with the extraordinary animals and meet the incredible giant bunnies in Old MacDonald's Farmyard before performing with Captain Black and his fellow pirates within the live Courtyard show in Mutiny Bay. Plus, family fun is made easy with a fantastic scheme for parents.
The Parent Q-Share Pass allows one adult to stand in the queue for a ride whilst freeing the other to wander around with smaller children. Once one adult has ridden, they swap parent care duties, hand over the Pass and the other can ride without having to queue.
Alton Towers Waterpark
Soak up some watery fun at the Caribbean themed water park where you can be blasted up and away by the fantastic Masterblaster wet rollercoaster or explore the Wacky Waterworks and Treehouse before relaxing in the Lazy River or Bubbly Wubbly pool! There's plenty of adrenaline pumping water thrills for the whole family, including the Little Leak - a shallow area full of interactive play features and slides for tiny tots.
Extraordinary Golf
Themed around the park's signature rides and attractions, Extraordinary Golf offers an entertaining round to test players of all ages as they shoot a birdie into Air, putt their way into Oblivion, swing over Nemesis and around the roundabouts of the Peugeot 207 Driving School!
