The Palace Hotel Buxton has been a prominent building in the stunning spa town of Buxton since 1868 and has now become one of the most prestigious Buxton conference venues in the region. The hotel is situated within the heart of the Peak District, making it easily accessible for delegates from all over the UK.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service and conference facilities to suit all your business needs. Our hotel provides eight conference suites for up to 500 delegates, on-site parking, catering facilities, Wi-Fi and we can also offer competitive bedroom rates to you and your guests.
Our Suites
The High Peak Ballroom
- can seat up to 300 theatre and 240 dinner dance/banquet
- Large built-in dance floor (can be covered)
- Own private bar area and large area around the bar; can be used as a lounge area for functions
The Derby Room
- Can seat up to 70 for private dine
- Has no windows but is close to the High Peak Ballroom so can be used as a breakout room or for a small conference/meeting
The Chatsworth Room
- Can seat up to 180 theatre and 90 dinner dance
- Grand room with large windows to two sides of the room overlooking the side and front aspects of the hotel
- Adjoined to the Cavendish Room
Cavendish Room
- Can seat 120 theatre and 50 cabaret
- Adjoined to the Chatsworth Room
- Grand room in décor but slightly smaller and has large windows overlooking the front of the hotel
Both the Chatsworth and Cavendish Rooms can be used individually or together for functions
The Rutland Room
- Can seat 42 boardroom, 36 u-shaped and 40 cabaret
- Has windows high up so there is some natural daylight although you can’t see outside
The Haddon Room
- Can seat up to 120 theatre, 60 cabaret and 42 boardroom
- Has large windows overlooking the side parking area of the hotel
The Peveril Room
- Can seat 100 theatre, 40 cabaret, 36 u-shaped
- Facing the side of the hotel with large windows
The Conservatory
- Can seat 40 cabaret
- Usually used for afternoon tea but can be hired out privately
