      In and Around Newcastle

      Visiting Newcastle and want to know what’s on? This vibrant urban city, renowned for the famous Geordie accent, was voted as Britain's number one tourist attraction in terms of nightlife.

      If you are looking for a memorable evening, Newcastle has much to offer, with everything available from clubs, pubs and bars to a night of family entertainment. You can book to see one of the many famous comedians who bring their tour to Newcastle's stages, or take the kids to a show at Newcastle's popular theatre.

      Rugby world Cup

      3rd, 9th and 10th October 2015
      Newcastle calls all rugby fanatics world-wide to its stands as it hosts three of the Rugby World Cup matches. Expect to see thousands of spectators, a lively carnival atmosphere like that of the Olympics and some rough and ready sport to go. If you’re not touching down with this rugby town, you won’t be touching down at all!

      Magic Weekend

      An entire weekend of rugby, rugby and more rugby! This Magic Weekend Super League is a pinnacle day for sporting fans and will see three games played every day by world-class stars. From tackles to touchdowns, it’s all to play for with these hulking heroes as the weekend get underway with everything from busts and bumps to boozy bellies!

Come and join this lovable Ogre in cries and laughter, on his adventure through enchanted forests and falling in love.

      Britain's Got Talent Auditions

      Do you have what it takes to be the next big sensation? Britain’s Got Talent calls upon all those with skill and creative flair, disregarding age, to win the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Royal Family. It can be anything from baking to baton twirling, but if you believe your talent is enough to get you a first-class ticket to stardom, come and stun like Susan!

      Film and Comic Con

      28 – 29th March 2015
      Meet your favourite film and comic stars at this year’s Film and Comic Con! The day will be occupied by personal photo-shoots with fantasy legends, autograph sessions and stalls, where you will be able to pocket some limited edition memorabilia and costumes. For comic and manga artists, you can visit the Artist’s Alley to draw and meet other artists – beginners are welcome too! You can also make your way to the Video Game Zone for an afternoon of hardcore gaming, with more consoles and screens than ever before and the chance to enter tournaments throughout the day.

      23- 25th April 2015
      Visit this international translating and interpreting event for two full days of: presentations, speeches, panels and fringe events, a pre-conference day of master classes and a conference dinner. The event is a great opportunity for both learning and networking, so don’t hesitate to come along!

      Vegan Festival

      Open to everyone and promoting vegan and animal welfare, the Vegan Festival is for both visitors and exhibitors. For all you foodies, it is a perfect day for experimenting with new and exciting cuisine and getting inspiration for new recipes.
