Nottingham, better known as the home to the legendary Robin Hood, is one of the top tourist destinations in the UK. In the daytime, guests can visit a number of markets and pubs, followed by an evening of first-rate entertainment.

There are lots of interesting facts embedded in the history of the city. For example, most visitors are surprised to find that there really was a Sheriff of Nottingham, and that there still is. The position has now become ceremonial however, and no longer requires an angry ride around a forest.
