      Manipulator of magic and mind control, Derren Brown brings his hypnotic roadshow to Birmingham. The master magician will leave you speechless, as he dives into the impossible and rears his head unscathed into a stunned applause. His performance and tricks have been described as “visual wizardry”, and will force even the most cynical minds to question how. This is certainly not one to be missed.

      Voted as one of the best live stand-ups, McIntyre’s performances have granted laughter to audiences worldwide and continue to be a sell-out. His shows focus on the everday from traffic to relationships, and are built around his eye for cynicism, for example: "Last week, I just wrote ‘I still love you, see last year’s card for full details’" when talking about Valentines Day. With humour the crowds can relate to, his shows have great comic value and the evening is sure to be filled with laughs.

      Gadget Show

      8- 12th April 2015
      Consumers are not always granted the privilege of sampling or purchasing the latest cutting-edge technology on offer. However, this will all change at the five-day Gadget Show. Visitors will not only get the opportunity to become familiar with the latest gadgets, but also get the chance to try them. There will also be presentations, a build-your-own gadget area and the British Inventors’ Project celebrating inventors and showcasing their latest products. Go-go with gadgets and follow the future!

      St Patricks Day Parade

If you’re lucky enough with all that shamrock, you may even find the hidden secrets of the infamous green-clad Leprechaun and his pot of gold!

      Ashes

      29 July – 2nd August 2015
      Ashes is the biggest series of test cricket matches in the world and will take place between England and Australia. With an anticipated 100,000 spectators and the first return to Birmingham since 2009 when England reigned champion, this will be a significant win for the triumphant team.
