BRITANNIA GOES WIRELESS!
Britannia Hotels announces that all 33 of its hotels have installed free wireless Internet access networks in all public areas and conference spaces for use by guests. This utilises a 2Mb ADSL Broadband connection, allowing speeds 40 times greater than a conventional dial-up modem. This facility is available for all guests with laptops that have either built-in WLAN network cards or removable PCMCIA WLAN network cards. For those guests who do not have WLAN compatible laptops, PCMCIA WLAN network cards will be provided by the hotel to offer access.
Eric Smith, National Sales Director for Britannia Hotels states "Our corporate and conference client base gave us very positive feedback on the wireless service as they were delighted with the freedom and flexibility it offers them during their stay… we look forward to extending it to as many other areas as we possibly can - particularly in our corporate properties in the very near future".

Installation has been completed at all Britannia Hotels, and is now being extended to bedroom areas of select Hotels.
