Access Statement
The hotel has a ramped front entrance, assistance bell at the front door. Public area access is on a level surface this includes all restaurants, bar and entertainment areas. Disabled toilet facilities are also fully accessible on the ground floor.
The hotel has specifically adapted bedrooms on the ground floor which have full wet room facilities, lowered switches, alarm call to reception in both the bathroom and bedroom.
The hotel also provides vibrating pillows for hearing impaired guests for emergency alarm.

Should you require a taxi to the hotel, Blackpool North train
station is 0.5 miles for the hotel and Blackpool airport is 5 miles
to the hotel. Black cabs are readily available which are suitable
for wheelchairs.

On arrival at the hotel
There is a lowered kerb at the side of the hotel.
There are several disabled parking spaces almost immediately
outside the hotel main entrance.
The entrance is fitted with two sets of "swing" doors which lead
into the Conservatory and Coastal Coffee Shop seating area.
Reception Area
The floor is carpeted through out and is
suitable for wheelchairs.
Reception is on one level. The registration card will be placed on
a clipboard for ease of use.
Reception may at your request complete the registration card on
your behalf allowing you to add your signature.
Public Areas
Our corridors are well lit and carpeted throughout
Tram side or roadside rooms do involve steps and requests should
be made for internal or seaward facing rooms as the two lifts
service all these rooms but are at the front of the hotel.
The main hotel bar and both restaurants are level with reception
as are our two small conference rooms.
Toilets
A disabled assessable toilet is on the ground floor
adjacent to the bar and entertainment venue.
Fire Alarms
The fire alarm system is a siren which sounds throughout the
hotel.
Certain bedrooms including those suitable for wheelchair dependent
guests have flashing lights.

Restaurants
Our restaurants are situated on the ground floor level with
reception and accessible for wheelchairs.
The restaurant offers buffet style service for all meals.
There sis movable seating and tables in both restaurants
Bar
The bar and entertainment venue are situated on the ground floor, and the seating is movable.
Accommodation
A limited number of accessible rooms are available on ground of the hotel. They have full wet room facilities lowered facilities and alarm to reception in both bedroom and bathroom. The rooms are close to main public areas and can accommodate carers.
